Bessie’s Miracle Oil

This was developed for my mother Bessie, when she had severe pneumonia and medications caused bleeding under the skin of her arms and hands.

The foundational oils were carefully chosen to help soothe and nourish her fragile skin and the blend of  essential oils especially chosen for the following properties:

• Cicatrisant ( helps skin to start healing itself),
• Astringent ( pulls together),
• Cytophylactic (cell regeneration)
• Hemostatic (stops bleeding)
• Rubefacient ( increase healthy blood flow)

• Macadamia Oil:

Macadamia oil has a high nutritional content, containing linoleic acid, palmitoleic acid and oleic acid; together with its antioxidants these fatty acids are very good for the skin, making it an ideal oil for dry, damaged and sensitive skin. Palmitoleic acid is vital for delaying premature aging as it is a building block to help generate new skin cells. As we get older our bodies produce less of its own palmitoleic acid; Macadamia oil can help replace some of it and can help supply some skin protective properties.

• Rosehip Oil:

We use only organic cold pressed Rosehip Oil. This oil is extremely high in valuable and powerful anti oxidants, as well as trans retinoic acid called tretinoin. (pro Vit A) This retinoic acid has a phyto-retinal effect that can help diminish the appearance of fine lines and reduce the effects of hyperpigmentation.   Rosehip Oil’s ability to combat signs of premature aging was the subject of numerous studies. It also has the ability to help prevent scars of wounds as well as improve old scar tissue.  Scientist, Dr Fabiola Carbajal did clinical trials in the Van Buren Hospital in Valparaiso in the early 1980’s and even 20 year old scars showed marked improvement after the use of Rosehip oil over a 4 month period.  Other Oils:

Calendula infused oil and a super blend of Essential Oils that include Lavender and Rose Geranium.

• What is Bessie’s Miracle Oil good for?

This oil blend is excellent to use on bruises, scars and even spider veins. Feedback from a happy customer: My spider veins  have started fading!

It may help skin elasticity, boost collagen, diminish broken capillaries, fade stretch marks and bruises.

Do not use on open wounds.
